We have always been comfortable sharing our thoughts when they affect business, or our environment. So, we thought we’d share something we have been working on in our business for the past year or so – well, we are a small part of an entire industry working on it.

The climate crisis is the defining challenge of our time. Ad Net Zero represents the advertising industry’s collective drive to reduce the carbon impact of developing, producing, and running advertising. By developing and supporting industry-level solutions, Ad Net Zero aims to help businesses transition to a sustainable future, making our industry more cohesive and effective in addressing the climate emergency.

We’ve embraced this challenge, recognising that every company and individual within our industry has a crucial role to play.

Over the past year, our involvement with Ad Net Zero has been both rewarding and transformative. We’ve taken strategic actions within our business to reduce our carbon footprint, from rethinking our production processes to embracing more sustainable practices in our day-to-day operations. We’ve also actively encouraged our clients to join us in this effort, promoting the benefits of sustainable advertising practices.

At Naked Creative, we’re taking strides towards putting the planet at the heart of everything we do. It has been a great journey thus far; attending learning opportunities, doing some reporting, and a LOT of measuring. This keeps sustainability at the forefront, and, we’re even getting competitive in our studio (despite Carla’s fondness for paper). Collectively, it’s exciting to work towards ensuring that our industry becomes better, more trusted, and more sustainable. The challenge is ongoing; currently, we’re researching a new fleet of cars, knowing there’s always more we can do! But we are excited to be on this journey.
