Invercargill City Council has a capable and well-resourced in-house marketing and design team who deliver outstanding work that reflects the priorities of their community and the vision of the organisation. Naked Creative is proud to support the Council with specific projects and campaigns when needed, working collaboratively to bring their ideas to life.
Whether we’re crafting messaging for strategic initiatives, producing design collateral for major events, or providing creative firepower during peak periods, it’s a privilege to play a small part in such important mahi. The work we do together is purposeful, community-focused, and always aligned with Council’s values and voice.
Inspired by a bold vision from council to increase civic engagement, we brought to life a classified advert-style campaign designed to capture attention and spark connection. Fall in Love With Your City invited locals to rediscover the charm, potential, and pride of the place they call home - all with a playful, heartfelt twist.
Framed like a personal ad, the city reached out to its people with warmth, humour, and an open invitation to get involved - whether by voting, standing, or simply caring. It was a fresh take on community participation, and we fell in love with it too.
We’ve brought our city to life through a playful, illustrated showcase that celebrates the landmarks, icons, and spaces that make Invercargill uniquely ours. This vibrant line-art imagery is packed with personality and pride, capturing everything from beloved community hangouts to standout city features in a fun, fresh way. It’s a visual love letter to the places we share - designed to spark smiles, celebrate our identity, and remind us just how special our community really is.
Splash Palace is making waves with a fresh, energetic visual identity that mirrors the excitement inside. The updated look is bright, engaging, and purpose-led - designed to draw people in and amplify the sense of movement, health, and joy that define the aquatic centre. It signals a renewed commitment to being a place for families, fitness, and fun, all while embracing the values of inclusivity and community wellbeing that make Splash Palace a treasured local destination.
The Invercargill City Library has unveiled a vibrant new look that reflects its role as a dynamic, community-driven space. With bold colour choices, playful elements, and an intentionally welcoming atmosphere, the design invites curiosity and encourages exploration. It celebrates the library not just as a place for books, but as a vibrant hub of creativity, connection, and lifelong learning. Whether you're coming in for storytime, study, or social connection, this space now reflects the fun and future-focused community it serves.
We had a blast bringing Tuatara Island to life with creative, engaging, and informative storytelling that celebrates one of Aotearoa’s living treasures - our beloved tuatara. From playful signage to curious facts and vibrant visuals, every piece was designed to educate and entertain, sparking wonder in both kids and grown-ups alike.
This wasn’t just about information - it was about connection. We wanted every visitor to feel a sense of awe, pride, and guardianship for this incredible taonga. The result is a space that invites discovery, ignites imagination, and reminds us just how lucky we are to share our home with these prehistoric icons. It’s science, culture, and creativity all rolled into one scaly little adventure.
The team at Naked Creative don’t simply follow a brief, the team excel at turning our briefs into something better than we could have imagined, they add their own touch of creativity, and nothing is a problem. They are easy to work with and are genuinely invested in seeing great outcomes for our projects. We often give them very short turn around times and they are always adaptable and flexible. I would highly recommend the team at Naked.
